Provider Reviews

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Compare 17 Bitcoin mining providers using the same published-data review format: 10 hosting operators, 3 brokers, 2 cloud-mining platforms and 2 marketplaces. Each review scores price (30%), track record (30%), transparency (20%) and support (20%), then separates published terms from estimates and documented incidents.

How we group providers: hosting, broker and cloud

Hosting operators run or contract the facility where your ASIC is installed, so their published energy terms can be compared directly. Brokers arrange hardware or partner capacity but may not operate a site themselves. Cloud platforms sell contractual hashpower rather than placing your machine. We label marketplaces separately because their terms vary by listing.

Start with the hosting comparison for comparable operator terms, test an ASIC in the mining calculator, then use these reviews to examine the provider behind each offer.

Hashlabs

since 2021

Cyprus-based host with published $0.072/kWh all-in pricing, daily direct-to-wallet payouts and EU facilities (Norway, Finland) โ€” one of the most transparent offers we track.

Simple Mining

since 2021

Iowa-based host with fully published tier pricing ($0.08/kWh starter, $0.07 enterprise), precision billing and a 4.7 Trustpilot score โ€” the transparency benchmark in the US segment.

Blockware Solutions

since 2017

One of the longest-running US hosts (2017) with a published $0.078/kWh starting rate and a respected research arm โ€” track record over rock-bottom pricing.

Compass Mining

since 2020

The best-known hosting marketplace โ€” wide selection and no lock-ins, but a 2022 incident history (Russia, lawsuits) and a 3.3 Trustpilot score demand scrutiny per listing.

Sazmining

since

Renewable-only host with a revenue-share model (15โ€“20%) instead of kWh pricing and direct pool payouts โ€” read the year-1 hardware forfeiture clause before signing.

Bitdeer

since 2021

NASDAQ-listed Bitmain spin-off with facilities on three continents โ€” institutional-grade infrastructure, but a cloud-fee model instead of transparent kWh pricing and weak customer ratings.

ECOS

since 2017

Armenian free-zone operator with a real 60 MW facility but a 2.3 Trustpilot score across ~2,000 reviews and repeated payout complaints โ€” the gap between marketing and review reality is a red flag.

ASIC Jungle

since 2020

A hardware broker (175,000+ ASICs sold) that matches buyers with partner hosts โ€” useful for bulk deals, but with zero public hosting terms it can't be compared like a real host.

NiceHash

since 2014

The reference hashpower marketplace since 2014 โ€” it survived and repaid a $64M hack, but a 1.3 Trustpilot score and its founder history keep it in the caution column.

Startmining

since 2017

France-based host whose Iceland flagship offers the cheapest EU rate we found (โ‰ˆโ‚ฌ0.053/kWh, 100% renewable) with direct-to-wallet payouts and 0% fees โ€” data operator-stated, verify before committing.

Antminer Distribution Europe

since 2014

The most trust-established EU option: a Dutch VAT-registered reseller active since 2014 with a 5โ˜… Trustpilot history and transparent pricing โ€” hosting is brokered through partner Hamus in Norway.

Cryptohall24

since 2022

German-contracted host (Hamm) with real EU sites (Finland hydro from ~6 ct/kWh, Norway), direct-to-wallet daily payouts and a 4โ˜…/47-review Trustpilot โ€” strong DACH relevance.

Hamus Hosting

since

Norway-based Nordics host (hydro/wind) with some of the lowest ultra-low and spot-linked rates we track (from ~โ‚ฌ0.047/kWh) and direct-to-wallet payouts โ€” attractive but young, treat as emerging.

Mining Store

since 2016

Iowa host operating since 2016 with a transparent 62.5 MW across 11 facilities and direct-to-wallet hosting โ€” a real US track record, though its Trustpilot base is thin and the focus is largely institutional.

Frontier Mining

since 2017

Texas-HQ retail host (since 2017) that explicitly welcomes small customers and pays direct-to-wallet โ€” but publishes no pricing and one of its own testimonials flags summer heat/uptime problems, so verify operational quality first.

Luxor

since 2017

A highly reputable Seattle full-stack mining company (pool, firmware, trading desk) whose hosting marketplace matches you with colocation partners โ€” useful for comparison, but it's a broker, not an operator.

Bitkern Group

since 2017

Bitkern Group is a Swiss-headquartered hosting provider operating since 2017 across the US, Finland, UAE, Ethiopia and Paraguay. It offers transparent dual-rate tiers โ€” a premium 100%-uptime rate and a heavily curtailment-discounted rate as low as ~$0.045/kWh โ€” with direct-to-wallet payouts and a strong Trustpilot rating.
